Hotel of choice in Santa Clara CA

Hello Lovelies,

A few weeks ago in Seattle we were getting a lot of SNOW and it has me thinking of warmer weather!!  :) I wanted to share with you about the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in California! I have been there a few times during my husbands work travels and they have made some nice improvements!  It’s always our hotel of choice when we are staying in Silicon Valley (mostly because it’s convenient to my husbands work :)) but also because the staff are so accommodating. We have visited twice within the last year, once when my son was just three months old and the more recent stay was when he was about ten months.

During the first visit, there was a lot of construction going on to make improvements to the Regency lounge  and we saw the end results in our most recent stay. The Regency lounge is so nice!! It has a modern look, a great breakfast selection (cereal, fruit, eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon and many other hot and cold options), an honor bar and yummy appetizers in the evening.  The lounge is also kid friendly as they have high chairs, can order food based on your child’s dietary needs and the staff absolutely LOVES children!! On our second visit we were able to meet the same staff that was there when my son was just 3 months old and they all remembered him!! :)

There is also an outdoor pool and plenty of lounge chairs.  There are a lot of airplanes that pass by and you can definitely hear them at the pool, however it wasn’t bothersome for us and my little guy actually loved looking up and watching them.  Also, you can’t hear the planes inside the hotel.

The hotel is also next to some attractions for the family which include the Levi’s Stadium and California’s Great America.

We love that it’s a perfect hotel for people on business and for families!  Hopefully you will find this helpful when making the decision on where to stay in Silicon Valley and you can stay for free too!  Just sign up for this card (World of Hyatt Credit Card) and you will earn up to 50,000 bonus points which is sufficient for a three night stay at this hotel!  Use this link.  See the end of the post for more information on points and free stays.

XOXO

P.S. Have you stayed at this hotel before or anyone that you know?  If so I would love to hear your thoughts… comment below and happy travels!
